It is a compact, lightweight manual-opening folding umbrella with a lightweight aluminium frame with fibreglass inserts, making this very lightweight to carry . The Curio range is also rated with a UV protection factor of 50+ SPF, so it keep you protected from both the sun as well as the rain. For a folding umbrella, the product provides excellent coverage, thanks to a 95cm (approx) diameter canopy. It is lightweight, convenient and benefits from a wind resistant design.
